A couple years ago, B’s Sizzling Kitchen experienced three break-ins.
On the third time, something unexpected happened.
Nothing was taken except food — pulled straight from our walk-in freezer.
That moment changed us.
It hurt. It felt violating. But it also revealed something deeper: someone was hungry enough to risk everything.
Instead of responding with anger, we chose reflection.
We asked ourselves:
What if we could create a way for no one to ever feel that desperate again?
And from that question, Plate It Forward was born.
Not from loss.
But from compassion.
How Plate-It-Forward Works

Guests can purchase a meal ticket during dine-in, takeout, or online checkout.

The ticket is added to our Community Meals Board.

No questions asked.
